Essentials for Backpacker Travel to Australia
Dont Leave Home without them
If you've decided to take the plunge and visit Australia as a backpacker or during your gap year, you might want to think about bringing some of the following items along. Never pack too much before you leave, a good rule of thumb is to pack you're backpack two thirds full leaving plenty of room for doing a bit of shopping when you're in Australia.

- Dont forget to check the expiration date
- Visa
- make sure this is done in advance so you dont have any surprises when you land in Australia
- Travel Insurance
- better safe than sorry
- Student/Hostel Cards
- this will help with budget accommodation
- Camera
- Coffee
- CV/References
- only if you intend working
- Contact Details
- leave contact details at home with people for emergencies, also photocopy all your visa, flight tickets and travel insurance documents in case they get lost
