Summer in Bondi is between the months of November to March, temperatures regularly hit the mid-30s during these months.
Current Weather for Bondi BeachApril 14th 1999 is a day that will stick long in the memory of sydneysiders. The day began with the possibility of a thunderstorm but what transpired turned out to be the most costliest disaster in Australian Insurance history spiraling upwards of $1.7 Billion. 
It is estimated that over 40,000 vehicles, 20,000 properties suffered damage during the storm with more than 25 aircraft damaged at Sydney Airport, one person was killed while fishing after getting struck by lightning, destruction that Sydney has not seen in a long time.
