I'd advise taking one of the one hour guided tours or if your in town long enough going to one of the shows.   • One of the best way's to experience the harbour and one of the highlights of a visit to Sydney is taking the ferry to Manly. The ferry ride is only 30 minutes and you will be able catch it from Circular Quay were they mostly depart every 30 minutes. On board you will be able to take in all the views of the most famous harbour in the world. Upon arrival enjoy a stroll around the Manly Scenic Walkway which takes you towards to the beach.

  • The Blue Mountain National Park is located west of Sydney, travel out early in the morning and see 'the three sisters' and other stunning views. Breathe the fresh air and relax away from the hustle and bustle of the city, as you marvel at a magnificent landscape of waterfalls and awe-inspiring sandstone structures.

  • The Rocks is the oldest district in Sydney, this is where the first settlers set up home built by the convicts using mud and sandstone and that how the area got its name so its a Sydney Tour not to be missed. Nowadays, the Rocks is nestled at the feet of Sydney Harbour bridge and has the highest concentration of historic buildings in Sydney that reflects its illustrious past. There are also lots of bars and restaurants in the area and a vibrant market every weekend. A great time to visit the area if you're in town is St Patrick's day when the street's and many establishments are in party mode with lots of live music and entertainment.

  • Luna Park
  • Located on the North Side of the Harbour Bridge, Luna Park in one of Sydney's Icons, spend a day at the amusements and rides in this historical amusement park first opened in 1935. The park has been refurbished and restored to its glorious past in 2004. You'll be greeted on arrival by the unmistakable enormous smiling face that can be seen from the other side of the harbour. This is a great way to have some fun with the family when you're in Sydney.
